Many fan motors are used for cooling electronic equipment, however the longevity of the fan is as short as 3～6 years compared with electronic parts, and it is necessary to periodically exchange the fans. A longlife operation is hoped for to reduce the periodic maintenance as a function required for the fan motor. To satisfy this demand, our company recently released the MRE Series AC input long-life fan in addition to the lineup of DC long-life fan MDE Series.
This article describes a validation methodology of the technology and the reliability that support the features and long-life operation of the products.

ワールドKシリーズ IP65端子箱付モーターの特徴（全5ページ）
ACモーターワールドKシリーズに新構造の端子箱付モーター（出力6W～40W）をラインアップしました。保護等級IP65に対応し、端子箱は配線作業を考慮した構造としました。また、過負荷時の過熱保護装置として、自動復帰型サーマルプロテクタ付に加え信号用サーマルプロテクタ付を追加しました。キャブタイヤコードで電気的、機械的に確実に固定、接続が出来ますので、FA用としてお使いいただけます。

A lineup of motors (6W～40W output) with a newly structured terminal box joined the small-sized, standard AC motor World K Series. It is compliant with IP65 (International Protection code), and the terminal box is structured considering the wiring. Moreover, another type in which the circuit of thermal protector is independent from the motor winding so that it can be used for the signal was newly added as an overheat protection device when overloaded besides the type with an automatic return type thermal protector. It is possible for FA use because it can be securely fixed and connected mechanically and electrically with a cable.
